Battery scrap
Lead Acid Battery Scrap Buyer in Hyderabad & India
SALVAGE collects end-of-life lead acid batteries, recovers the lead, the acid and the plastic, and builds new batteries from what comes back. If you have spent batteries to move, this is the company that takes them into that loop.
What comes in
Dead batteries come in from fleets, dealers, depots and defence stores. The homepage lists seven places a dead battery comes from. Each one is a lead acid stream, not a general scrap pile.
- Automotive. Cars, trucks and buses, through dealers and fleet workshops.
- Aviation. Aircraft ground and onboard batteries at end of life.
- Defence. Vehicle, field and installation batteries from defence stores.
- Industrial UPS. Data centre and plant backup, replaced on schedule.
- Inverter and home backup. Described on the site as the largest and steadiest household stream.
- Marine. Ship and port batteries, including bulk replacements at refit.
- Telecom. Tower backup banks, replaced on cycle.
That is the feedstock. The certified scope on the ISO certificates is trading and recycling of scrap, metals and related recyclable materials. The other end of the same company is manufacture: a finished battery, rather than recovered metal handed on.
A collector that also runs the plant
Most recyclers stop at recovered lead and sell it to somebody who builds the battery. SALVAGE builds the battery. The site says it directly: we do not sell it on, we build with it. For a fleet, a dealer, a depot or a defence store, the scrap is collected by the company that also runs the furnace and the battery line. The company's word for the first stage is collect. This page does not add a rate card the site does not have.
After collection, the loop has five further stages, all inside the one company.
- Break. The battery is cut open. Lead, acid and plastic separate.
- Smelt. Recovered lead goes to the furnace.
- Refine. The metal is brought to the purity a new battery needs.
- Rebuild. New plates, new cases from the recycled plastic, a finished battery.
- Return. It ships. And one day it comes back to stage one.
The acid and the plastic are named alongside the lead. They are part of what is recovered, and the plastic is what the new cases are made from. The fuller account of smelting and refining is on the lead recycling page. What the refined metal becomes is on the recycled lead and batteries page.

Certified scope
SALVAGE is certified to ISO 9001:2015, quality management systems, and ISO 14001:2015, environmental management system. Both certificates were issued on 08 June 2026 by Q2A Certification Board, United Kingdom, and both are valid until 07 June 2029. The numbers are Q2A-2026-0608T126811 for ISO 9001 and Q2A-2026-0608T126821 for ISO 14001. Surveillance audits fall due by June 2027 and June 2028.
The certificates are published in full on the homepage, as PDF and as a photograph of each page, so they can be checked with the issuing body. The certified scope is trading and recycling of scrap, metals and related recyclable materials.
How to start
The site does not publish a price, a per-tonne rate or a minimum quantity. Those figures are not on the homepage, so they are not invented here. Book a call if you want fifteen minutes with the people who run the plant. The form opens your own email app, addressed to admin@salvageenergy.world. You can write to that address directly. Say who you are, where the batteries are, and what you want to talk about. There is no phone number on this site.
